With 1301 inflatable havaianas floating on our fair seas this Australia Day, Cottesloe smashed the world record attempt for the "Longest line of inflatable airbeds" on the ocean, blowing last year's attempt out of the water!
A commendable mention must go to the rest of the country with thousands of you joining in the fun on the day.
The total number of entrants was 5713, beating the 2009 record by far.
We knew it was going to be big but we had no idea how big until we got down to the beach on the day. Everyone had such a fun time, so no doubt it is going to be bigger and better next year - Look out 2011!
